🎯 4-Step Round Workflow
This app handles all golf calculations, handicap strokes, side bets, and peer-to-peer cash settlements automatically in real time.
STEP 1
Setup Roster & Stakes
Click Setup in the top header. Enter player names, handicaps (0–36), team pairings, and select your primary bet format.
STEP 2
Hole Touch Scoring
On each hole, tap the + / - buttons or quick presets (Birdie, Par, Bogey). Net scores and stroke dots calculate automatically.
STEP 3
Award Junk & Dots
Made a Sandie, Greenie, or Birdie? Tap the dot chip next to the player's card to instantly add bonus payouts outside the main game.
STEP 4
Live Ledger & Settle Up
Check the Settle tab anytime for net dollar totals and the step-by-step cash transfers (e.g., Player 3 pays $18 to Player 1).
🏆 The Nassau Format
Standard Match Play
The most popular bet in golf. A Nassau consists of 3 distinct matches:
Front 9 Match (Holes 1–9): Worth 1 stake (e.g. $5).
Back 9 Match (Holes 10–18): Worth 1 stake (e.g. $5).
Overall 18 Match (Holes 1–18): Worth 1 stake (e.g. $5).
⚡ Automatic 2-Down Presses
When a team or player goes 2 DOWN during a match, an Automatic Press is triggered. This creates a brand new sub-match covering the remaining holes of that nine at the same stake.
Example: Team 1 goes 2UP after Hole 5. An Auto Press starts on Hole 6 for Holes 6–9. If Team 2 wins holes 6–9, they win the $5 press even if they lose the original front 9 match!
🔥 Skins & Carryover Accumulator
Individual / Net Low Ball
Each hole is worth 1 "Skin" (e.g. $2/skin). The lowest score on the hole wins the skin.
🔄 How Carryovers Work
If two or more players tie for lowest score on a hole, the skin is carried over to the next hole, increasing the pot.
• Hole 3: P3 scores Net 2 (Birdie) outright! → P3 claims all 3 Skins!
Payout Math: When Player 3 wins 3 skins at $2/skin, Player 3 collects $6 ($2 × 3) from EACH of the 3 other players = +$18.00 total profit!
🐺 The Wolf Game
18-Hole Rotation
Players take turns being the designated Wolf (Hole 1: P1, Hole 2: P2, etc.). The other 3 players tee off while the Wolf watches.
👥 Pick Partner (1x)
Wolf chooses 1 partner after their tee shot. Plays 2v2 against the 2 Hunters. Low team ball wins 1 pt each.
🐺 Lone Wolf (2x)
Wolf plays 1v3 alone after seeing all tee shots. If Wolf wins, collects 2x pts from each of 3 hunters (+6 pts total!).
🕶️ Blind Wolf (3x)
Wolf declares going alone BEFORE anyone hits tee shots. High risk / reward: wins 9 pts or loses 9 pts!
🎰 Las Vegas (Two-Digit Team Pairing)
2v2 High Stakes
Team members' scores are combined into a two-digit integer with the lowest score as the tens digit.
• Player 1 shoots 4, Player 2 shoots 5 → Team 1 score = 45
• Player 3 shoots 5, Player 4 shoots 6 → Team 2 score = 56
• Team 1 wins 56 - 45 = 11 points!
🔄 The Famous "Birdie Flip" Rule
If a player makes a natural Birdie (or Eagle) and their team wins the hole, the opposing team's score is FLIPPED (highest score becomes the tens digit)!
• Team 1 makes a Birdie (3) and a 4 → Team 1 = 34
• Team 2 makes a 4 and a 6 → Normally 46, but FLIPPED to 64!
• Team 1 wins 64 - 34 = 30 points on one hole!
💎 Junk / Dots / Trash Glossary
Side Bet Bonuses
Dots add independent flat monetary bonuses outside the main game format. Tap dot chips directly on any hole!

Closest to pin on Par 3 green (and makes Par or better).
🏖️ Sandie$2
Up & down from a greenside bunker to make Par or better.
🦅 Birdie$1
Natural 1 under par on any hole.
👑 Eagle$4
Natural 2 under par on any hole.
🚩 Pole$1
Sunk putt longer than the length of the flagstick.
🌲 Barkie$2
Ball hits a tree and player still recovers to make Par.
⚖️ Stroke Allocation & Handicap Index
Each hole on the course has a Stroke Index (SI 1 to 18) ranking difficulty.
Off the Low (Recommended)
USGA standard for match play. The lowest handicap player plays at scratch (0 strokes), and others get strokes based on the difference on the hardest holes.
Full Stroke Index
Strokes are awarded purely based on each player's course handicap without subtracting the lowest player.
Visual Stroke Indicators:
Strokes received are marked with golden dots next to each player's name: • (1 stroke), •• (2 strokes). Net Score = Gross - Strokes.
🤝 Minimal Peer-to-Peer Settlement
At the end of the round, settling up money among 4 players can be complicated with multiple games and junk bets. Our app solves this mathematically!
How It Works:
We aggregate all winnings and losses across all games and junk dots for each player.
The sum of all 4 player balances is strictly Zero-Sum ($\sum = \$0.00$).
A greedy debt-matching algorithm computes the fewest possible cash handoffs between players.
